El 12 de octubre es un día especial para España ya que se celebra el Día Nacional, por eso la Embajada organizó un evento en colaboración con la Cámara de Comercio de España en Qatar para conmemorar este día en el The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.

El Embajador D. Javier Carbajosa pronunció un discurso de apertura en el que destacó la gran relación que mantienen Qatar y España. Al evento asistieron aproximadamente 600 personas e invitados especiales como: el Ministro de Justicia S.E. Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, el Ministro de Estado y Presidente de la Biblioteca Nacional de Qatar S.E. Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari y el Director del Departamento de Protocolo del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Embajador Ibrahim Fakhro.

La Cámara de Comercio de España en Qatar celebró un business breakfast en el restaurante Market Place del W Doha Hotel & Residences, donde los nuevos miembros: Técnicas Reunidas, Power International Holding, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel  y Sigel tuvieron la oportunidad de presentarse y hablarnos de sus empresas.

Cámara de Comercio de España en Qatar y en colaboración con el Club de Exportadores e Inversores Españoles y el Spanish Business Council en UAE presentó la monografía realizada por Guerrero Blanco, director de Halal Trade and Marketing Centre y Gonzalo Rodríguez Marín, director del Saudi-Spanish Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance de IE University.

Cityscape 2022 es la feria más importante en el sector de real estate. Cuando la Cámara participa en este tipo de ferias se le da un espacio a los socios para que tengan visibilidad y a la vez prestamos ese mismo servicios para empresas españolas que quieran tener presencia en dichas ferias.

El 15 de junio se realizó una cena de verano con el fin de tener la oportunidad de despedirnos antes de las vacaciones de mitad de año donde pudimos compartir como comunidad.

Uno de nuestros socios, Onsite, nos dio la oportunidad de conocer un poco sobre el tema de logística en evento donde pudimos observar cómo se realizan los montajes y desmontajes de grandes eventos.

Durante la exhibición 2ⁿᵈ Waste Management Conference and Exhibition 2022 la Cámara de Comercio estuvo presente con un stand, dicha exhibición busca la implementación de un plan estratégico sostenible, en línea con la Visión Nacional de Qatar 2030, y en apoyo de la campaña Basura Cero.

El 8 de junio tuvimos la oportunidad de tener un webinar con la empresa socia de la Cámara: The Mill & partners, donde se explicó cómo mejorar la comunicación del perfil profesional.

Nuestro evento mensual, Get Together se realizó el 1 de junio en el icónico lugar Vertigo ubicado en el hotel Banyan Tree Doha, dicho evento se realiza el primer miércoles de cada mes y es abierto a la comunidad.

En colaboración con el Spanish Business Council de UAE, Cámara Oficial de Comercio de España en Senegal, Cámara Oficial de Comercio de España en Tánger, Cámara Oficial de Comercio de España en Sudáfrica, Cámara Oficial de Comercio de España en Túnez y Cámara Oficial de Comercio de España en Casablanca Se va a realizar un Grupo de Trabajo con Expertos sobre las Vías de colaboración en el sector Agroalimentario entre África y Oriente Medio

La Cámara de Comercio de España en Qatar tiene el placer de invitarle al evento organizado por el Grupo Dani García, que tendrá lugar el lunes 9 de mayo de 2022 a las 7:00 pm en el Palazzo Ballroom del Marsa Malaz Kempinski.

Este evento está abierto a toda la comunidad y tiene un costo de 250 QAR por persona, donde tendrás la oportunidad de presenciar el corte y degustación de un atún de Almadraba y un cóctel (sin alcohol). Smart City Expo Doha 2022- plataforma global dedicada a discutir, abordar y resolver los desafíos que enfrentan las ciudades del mañana.

El 9 de Marzo de 2022 se llevó a cabo el Get Together en el W hotel Doha

El evento, que se llevó a cabo del 27 al 28 de septiembre, tuvo como tema “Desafiar el sesgo de género y la desigualdad”, fue un llamado a resolver algunos de los problemas urgentes que enfrentan las mujeres en el lugar de trabajo y la sociedad. El evento también destacó el tema de la desigualdad de género a escala global y las medidas necesarias que los gobiernos y las comunidades deben tomar para ayudar a resolver la disparidad. Este año, el foro también entregó las riendas de la organización y sede del evento a la juventud ambiciosa y proactiva de Qatar.
