Welcome Messages

Doha, January 26th, 2023
Since the date of its constitution in February 2019, the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Qatar has been developing an intense work within the framework of strengthening and diversifying trade and economic relations between Spain and Qatar.
Undoubtedly, and after the relations between the two countries were elevated in May 2022 to the rank of Strategic Partnership, the Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish companies in Qatar that are part of it, are called to an even greater prominence.
In a changing world, the Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish companies have been able to understand not only the complexities of a geographical area such as the Gulf, tremendously competitive, but also the need to adapt to both the new national frameworks (Strategic Vision 2030) and international frameworks (energy transition, Agenda 2023, etc…), in order to adjust their operational and management methods.
In this sense, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Qatar has always offered an adequate and convenient institutional framework for Spanish companies in Qatar to project their great potential in this market, both individually and collectively.
For all these reasons, the Embassy of Spain in Qatar, which attaches great importance to the development of trade and economic relations with Qatar, will continue to provide its full cooperation and assistance to the Chamber of Commerce in the fulfillment of its objectives.
I would like, finally, to congratulate the Chamber of Commerce in Qatar for the magnificent work initiated in 2019, and to offer it again my full support, in its determination to achieve new goals.

Javier Carbajosa
Ambassador of Spain

An original commitment and passion that are kept firm and unchanged, not only in theory, but mostly in our everyday activities. Together, we conform a rich fabric that includes several activities.

The Chamber has consolidated as an unequivocal role model for the business community in Qatar. Our organization is a high-profile player as we contribute, along with other economic and social agents, to local development. We participate in tenders and forums in which the business community makes for added value to the Qatar market. Our main objective is the development of trade and investments between Spain and Qatar and to boost Company Members businesses.

From the Board of Directors we work, on a daily basis, to accomplish all proposed goals and set new ones that allow us to grow further.
