Maidan Sports Center and Ooredoo Qatar have signed a one-year strategic partnership aimed at advancing sports development, supporting local talent and promoting healthier lifestyles across the community. The agreement was signed by Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Senior Director of Marketing Communications at Ooredoo Qatar, and Saud Al-Dolaimi, Managing Director of Maidan Sports Center.
As part of this collaboration, the two organizations recently held the Ooredoo Padel Challenge Tournament, which took place from 5–10 November 2025. Beyond the tournament, the partnership includes a full calendar of sports events and activities that will run throughout the upcoming year across all Maidan Sports Centres.
Following the signing ceremony, Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari emphasized that this partnership reflects Ooredoo’s continued commitment to supporting sports initiatives and nurturing local talent in Qatar, with major activations scheduled to begin on January 16, 2026. This collaboration reinforces both organizations’ shared vision of elevating padel as one of Qatar’s fastest-growing sports while fostering an active and inclusive sports community.
