On July 5th and 6th, 2022, the Assembly of the 44 Official Spanish Chambers of Commerce Abroad was held in Madrid, where several strategic conferences organized by the Secretary of State for Commerce and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce were held. , headed by Xiana Méndez, Secretary of State for Commerce and José Luis Bonet, President of the Spanish Chamber.
The main objective of the conference is to support the internationalization of Spanish companies as an essential lever for economic recovery, new forms of collaboration with the territorial chambers and the increase in bilateral trade relations between Spain and the countries where each of the Chambers has presence.
The FEDECOM Assembly was also held where the strategy for 2022-2024 was reviewed.
Lastly, the representatives of the Chambers had an audience with His Majesty the King of Spain Felipe VI at the Palacio de la Zarzuela. Representing the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Qatar, its president, David Quintanilla, attended.
